The ants out side my window.

Recently I have move into a new office and have a new feature to my work life, A window. At first the window and I did not know what to say to each other. I have never had a window at work before. Back in school I remember windows always got me into trouble. The world passed by them, sun, ran, girls, and other people I knew. These things were always more interesting then Algebra. I wanted to watch the stuff out the window, Miss Lapp my Algebra teacher had other ideas… So when I moved in to the new office and found the window I remembered how much trouble they had gotten me in before. So we did say much to each other. Every once in a while I would glance over just to make sure the window was still there and quickly go back to work. Maybe once in a while adjust the blinds to keep the afternoon sun from frying my office. But always was the thought that it was going to get me into trouble. Then today I noticed them, ants. The shrubs out side are right up against the window. So I can see the inside of the planets. This morning I caught movement out of the corner of my eye. On closer examination I found a ants working away in the shrub, moving water, food, and scouting for trouble. Doing all the things ants need to do to keep Miss Lapp from hounding them about homework. Trying really hard not to stop and watch all interesting things going on inside the big window. So here the ants and I are working away on our sides of the window just doing what needs to be done. I think the window and I will be ok…
