Donnas "spend the night"
Picked up the Donnas CD today. This band rocks… no dynamics, no intellectual lyrics, hell they do not even have the musical depth of Judas Priests Turbo Lover album. But I do not care! This band rocks. I think it was Squeak who said this is the female version of every male rock band ever. They sing loud song about treating men like meat, getting dunk, stoned, and punching people. They are not a pseudo tough girl band, this is them and they are having fun. Women, this is the band your id has been looking for. Guys, be afraid, these girls not just trying to prove a point.

Dan, you consistently amaze me with your great taste in music!!! The Donnas rock! Have not picked up their most recent yet but have all of their old stuff.
When they came to town last month I already had tickets to Cirque du Soleil for the same night, but strongly considered dumping tickets and going anyway. It is a karmic fact that all of the good stuff happens at one time.

Hey, I heard you like the Donnas too. They are definitely my favorite band. I don't even know how I found this site, but it's great! Everything happens on accident for me. I walked into my local record shop here and satred listening to the CD witht the coolest cover(the Donnas of course!) and I bought it! And I never do stuff like that, but it's exactly what I needed. Glad to know someone else is enjoying it too. -Jackary
