Rats, Beatles and Moons

Well today I am 35 years old. That is half the average life span of a US male. I am not married yet, have gray hair, spend too much time playing video games, and still do not know what I want to do when I grow up. So yeah I like where I am overall. So with out further ado, Heydan presents on this day:

July 22
1963 - The Beatles' first U.S. album, "Introducing The Beatles," was released
1376 - The legend of the Pied Piper of Hamelin leading rats out of town is said to have occurred on this date.
1934 - John Dillinger was mortally wounded by FBI agents at the Biograph Theatre in Chicago, IL.
2000 - Astronomers at the University of Arizona announced that they had found a 17th moon orbiting Jupiter.

Happy Birthday! Don't forget, you promised to live to 100.

Well, you have done another year. Congradulations and best wishes.
Keep it up...
Love, your Dad

You are:
Smart
Loved
Creative
Friendly
Impassioned
Dynamic
Determined
Eclectic
and many other things.
You had all of that for all your life. So who gives a fuck if your are some fraction of old. 8-)

Happy birthday! I never thought of you as an age. It is nice to know that someone who is older than me is still a kid! It assuages the fear that someday an adult might posses my body and end the fun.

I found 35 a partcularly interesting year. Of course it was 1995 in my case. Perhaps you've forgotten, but you did a lot to get me through being 35. Thanks! Looking back now, it all seems very strange. One really would not have predicted where, and with whom, I'd be now, from what happened then ...

It comes back to me... It was on your birthday in 1995 that you spent a great deal of time helping me deal with suddenly not being engaged anymore.
(What an awful exhibit that was at the Convention Center - After we made our escape we sat about and discussed "Pulp Fiction"...)

At any rate, A Belated Happy Birthday!
