Working titles and growing
Ok status update.
Sorry I have been out for a while. I was hiding under my rock. Things are going better. We are working on the things we want to fix. There is lots of unpublished entries, but let just say I am trying to grow emotionally. That is hard under the best conditions.
On the movie stuff. Allen and I are working on a project that has to be done by mid September. This is going to have to go from 0 to 100 mph in the next week.
The “Boy vs. Girls” (working title) is getting some help from someone who has done zero budget film before. It is going though a big re-write to make it easier to shoot and fix plot problems. I am really beginning to like the characters.
This whole process has been a big learning exp. There really is a lot to it.

I have said it before… if users ever find out how easy it is to write software … the programmer of today will be lined up and shot. This is an example of why.

Even if it is hard to spell Schwarzenegger
Ok, I not thrilled with the recall election in California. I think once you elect someone you should live with that unless that person has broken the law. I do not like our president at the moment, but he is our president until we pick someone else.
Now… having said that. I would so vote to recall him. Being if I had the choice I would vote for who I wanted to be in office. That person would be Arnold Schwarzenegger. Why? It is not because I think the Terminator would be a good governor. That is a part Arnold Schwarzenegger has played. There are some things people are not seeing here.
Arnold Schwarzenegger has a degree. Business, Economics. He is a success in his own right, even if you remove all the money he has made in movies, and bodybuilding. He has a real estate empire that he built himself. He is an immigrant that lived up to the American dream.

Just because he still has an accent and he was a bodybuilder does not mean he is stupid. I have been listening to what says. He is a Republican centrist who has a good grip on the current state of California. He wants to wake up the Republican Party much like another former actor in the 1980’s.
And we will not see him as President … he cannot be elected. Immigrants are not allowed to be President. But they can remind us of what it mean to be an American.

Actors!
I am making my first short film. I need actors, a location, and help!
Since I know a couple crazy people this should be easy.
This is a move about boys and girls. The movie is set in an apartment. Six friends are having a social evening where things get emotional. There is no nudity, some language, no costumes, one possible kiss, no guns, nothing explodes and a great deal of dialog for a movie that at the moment is only 5 minutes long. It should be a fun exp.
The Pay:
My undying gratitude and the ability pimp me to make movies you want to.
Things I need.
Actors:
3 men: They need to look 20-35ish young professional types. Looking like a yuppie, computer geek, shy, or hansom is a big plus.
3 women: Same 20-35ish young professional types. I need a strong personality, a person who can be emotional, and quick wit.
House or Big Apartment:
Needs to have separate Lining Room and Kitchen. It would be nice if both were big enough for seven people and a camera. Shooting should take about 4-6 hours.
Music:
If anyone would like to do music for a short movie I would love to use you. Recording equipment not required. I am looking for something modern and simple, no bad synthesizers that we all hate.
People with a dream of making movies:
If you have a dream of making movies or just stories in you head let me know. I am not trying to be George Lucas or make money this way. This is for fun. My dream is to have a group of people like Community Theater that make the movies they want. So if you have ever wanted to work hard, get no money, lose sleep and make movies, do I have a deal for you? I need writers, actors, stories, photographers, editors, dreamers, poets and clowns.
