Dangerous Abbreviations
At work someone emailed me list of dangerous abbreviations. No joke these are things that you should not abbreviate. For instance in medial records using MS as an abbreviation for morphine sulfate. This can be confused with magnesium sulfate. This brings up an example. I was chatting with my brother Dean and he dropped the line “POS…” me not being hip to the lingo thought it meant “piece of sh*t.” Oh not so as I found out. Dean was up visiting Mom. This term mean Parent(s) Over Shoulder. So as I started to tell Dean about going down to TRF this weekend to chase girls… Oops. The 'I' stands for instant right?

A Chinatown bakery thought they would save themselves some trouble one Valentine's Day and iced all their cakes with "Happy VD". This being San Francsco, those cakes sold in record time...
