The drive to work

It is time I talk about the new Job. The new job is working for a company that does work for the National Cancer Institute. The three people we work with at the National Cancer Institute have three different goals. One wants to give cancer researcher more information then they had access to last year, one wants to revolutionize the way cancer researcher is done, the last goal has a number … 2015… it is to eliminate human death and suffering from caner by the year 2015. That is 12 years from now. This evening I found out my Aunt Bunny has cancer. She is very sick. I told my first dirty joke to Bunny. She tormented me by making me explain all the dirty words. Imagine a 7-year-old Dan try to explain what I meant by the word dick. You see Bunny is bulletproof, she is that relative that is larger then life. Now she has this thing, that I spend all day reading about. She will not be around 12 years from now to see if I help make it happen. How do you go to work tomorrow and not think about that.

You dont, you go to work and you think about it. You think about it everyday. You work for it, because of it, to the end goal. You explain to her the word love and she will remeber how you explained dick. You do the good work and fight the good fight (20 pages of what?) for folks like that... because baby bullet isnt the only thing we need to be proofed.
