Like suuuuppperman!

Life has its ups and downs. This weekend is proof of the ups. The loss of Bunny was rougher then I thought it would be. A heart felt thank you for all the love and support from everyone.

By Friday I was beginning to feel more human which was advantages since it was the Lucci Sisters Christmas Party or, as we like to call them the three Lucci sisters of the apocalypse. The party was a big success as they are always; they even made me name which of the four horsemen each was name after. During the party I got ride myself of a year’s supply of Old Spice and gained a copy of the quilting encyclopedia at the infamous white elephant gif exchange. So all in all a wash I fear. During the party I got a chance to get to know Karen’s fiancé J better. I like him; I can see what she sees in him. Spent some time talking to a lot of fun people. Totally a good time was had.

Saturday was a surprise. My plans included working around the apartment and watch some movies. Linnea and I went out to lunch at Jack Astors and it is not the same resultant it was last month. All the color is gone and the service is bored. It was like walking into the wrong restaurant. Linnea as always was delightful company. After lunch it was home to work on apartment stuff and a movie. That was until another surprise, this one very nice, happened. I got a call from another charming young lady wanting to know what I was up to. So I was off this time to see the movie ‘Love Actually.’ Neat movie about the stages of romance, not love but rather romance. If you have not caught the movie yet please do. Back to the charming young lady, I had a delightful time. She is smart, funny and totally fascinating. So good weekend day two.

Enter Sunday… and me with the little slower then normal. I felt like I was moving though jello all day. I was not sick, just not moving fast. The office Christmas party was that night and I was going to go home early. Well that did not work. Instead I hung out and gabbed with Jenny, Carrie and Rob. On the way home Glenn call and ask if I wanted to come over and watch war movies… Now I am getting tired. But again much fun was had. Good weekend day three.

So by Monday I am in much need of a rest, by no not me. I was kind of need of talking things out, so after work, dinner with the Carbonated Girl! Mexican, my favorite. She has a good habit of putting me back on my feet, that she did. So good weekend day four?

Ok… tonight sleep and rest… right?
