Life in full
Life is a whirlwind of stuff right now. Time is a big issue. There is a great deal of things I want to have time to do right now. This weekend I was asked to be part of another film project. It sounds like a fun project with a group of people I have respected for a long time. But I fear I am not going to have the time right now to do it. The question I am asking myself is, what is taking the time I would spend on this?
After thinking about it several things right now are taking that time. One of these things is work, this is not a have to pay bills and not live under a bridge answer. I enjoy my work. My job is one of the coolest ones I know. I want to be good at it and that takes time. So if I had to choose between work and film and money were not a concern. I would choose work. So this is a good decision.
All the other things on the list of things taking this time are the same. All things I would rather be doing even if responsibility, money, or energy were not an issue. While these are hard choices, it reinforces my belief that I am living the life I want. That is a life that is full and where time is a well-spent gift. When I died know that my today was live fully.
