Hey Dan

I know the home owners out there are laughing at me. I know this. But here we go. House tasks today. Well I have a small leak somewhere that is ending up coming out of the ceiling of the garage. No big deal, it is a small leak, but it needs to be looked at. I think it may be coming from the up stairs shower. That means a plumber… or maybe a roofer, who knows.

I got the spa guy to come out and give me a hot tub care 101. This week will be spent cleaning out leaves and doing mad scientist work with vials and pool chemicals. By the way, our pool/spa guy is a hoot. I swear he can talk faster then anyone I have ever met. He was doing laps around the hot tub pulling things off and pushing buttons. All while ratting off a list of a dozen things I needed and options if I did not want to get those. So after work tonight… the pool store!

I spent the morning watching the cable guys bury a new line to my house. Once it was complete, we now have TV and Internet. Go us! But while I was waiting, I decided to take a look at the sprinkler system. I was surprised to find that there were well written directions on the automatic system. Within 7 minutes I had fully set the system for fall watering, but in the process found 2 broken sprinkler head that just poured water out rendering the system useless.

All of this and I still have not unpacked. I am kind of glad we are renting. Just think if I could rebuild the kitchen like I want to… the mind boggles.

Please note: This is a great house. K and I love this house. The people we are renting it from rock. These problems are natural part of moving into a new house.
