The dangers of being anonymous
Today I accidentally deleted a comment from one of my post. It seems there have been a number of friends who have shifted to new anonymous blogs formats. One of these is annoying factoid. Therefore, I am sorry knowitall. I swear this looked like comment spam!

Surround yourself with good people with good ideas and good equipment, let the rest take care of itself. When you come back to town, come play poker with us.
… BTW I am all about playing poker.
This does point to a new trend. A large number of my personal daily reads are turning to anonymous formats. The reasons are simple. This is where I post my personal thoughts and ideas. Yes, I am sharing them with anyone who would like to read them. The people reading them should be aware that this is my journal, not my diary nor is it my personnel file. Meaning, I write things he for people to read and enjoy. Imagine if you and I went out and had a beer, this is the kind of things I would say while I was there. This is not the things I would say at work or even at home. This is a both public and personal form of communication.
Recently I have seen people use web log entries to make judgments about peoples action in a professional environment. This crosses the line. If you work with me and we ran into each other at a bar. Would you expect me to share our conversation with the HR department?
The Web and Blogging are changing many things in our world. Think of it as getting to talk to person in every kind of bar.

That's cool, It had to happen sometime. It wasn't so much about what I say as being easily searchable on google. I don't want to be judged on my inability to write a coherent sentence.
