There is one in every disaster

I volunteered to be a plane crash victim for the DFW airport Life Saver Drill. The drill itself was fun to watch. Watching them put out a plan on fire that you did not get out of is fun. Another thing that made the day super fun is I was not alone Leia and a number of Faire people where there. Liea and I spent our time waiting to be rescued practicing plane crash pick-up lines.

“So, is this your first disaster…”
“Can I get you something form the Red Cross?”
“What is your triage status? I am a green.”
“Is that plane on fire or is it just you…”

Oh it went on and on. Liea gets an uber-geek award for photo-blogging the event real time. You can see her pictures ... here

Hello
I have all of my stuff from the drill.
Would you like me to take pictures of it and send it to you?
Let me know.

"Is that shrapnel in your arm, or are you happy to see me?"
