202 down 163 to go
I hate my birthday. Most of my life I have tried to ignore this event. History dislikes the day. The FBI gunned down John Dillinger on July 22. Jeffrey Dahmer was caught on my birthday. The Holocaust started on my birthday, I not kidding Holocaust started on my birthday.
Personally, the day itself has always been better when I ignored the part about being born then. In 1991 I started at the Fort Worth Zoo, on my birthday, good day, no fanfare. On my list of top 10 birthdays is one where I forbid anyone to speak of my birth or buy me anything. We all went bowling instead. I paid.
This year, I had a nice birthday. I invite 10 people over and cook dinner for them. That is right I feed people. The best times of my life have been when I was doing things for others. I like spending time with people. This is what I want, every year. Forget the whole ‘celebrate the anniversary of my birth’ thing. The best things in my world are all of you. The truth is I am glade I was born everyday.
By the way if you would like to see pics, they are up … thanks Shaggy!

You and my husband should get together. Only a handful of people even know when his birthday is, and we are all forbidden from sharing it with others. I'm glad you had a nice birthday though.

It was one of the single best days I can remember in a long time. Thank you for sharing that special day with us, we loved being there in your home amongst the people and kitties you love. You're a very blessed and loved person.
